Students at Howard High School enjoy a world class educational experience with opportunities to excel academically, athletically, and artistically. Music education plays a critical role in developing well rounded students with a life long love of the arts. Band, choir, orchestra, guitar, and music technology programs instill the values of dedication, perseverance, teamwork, and accountability. The comradery and esprit de corps of these groups bolster students mental health.
As beneficial as these programs are, they are costly to run.

Sheet music
Uniforms
Transportation
Additional Staff and Clinicians
Each year, there is a gap of tens of thousands of dollars between what the district provides and the true operating costs of a high quality music program. Our mission is to close that gap.
